Happy Birthday Pops!

We made a last minute decision to head to Kauaii for some fun in the sun.

Home Sweet Home! A salvaged and relocated plantation cottages from around the island...

Lynel, Baby Ella and Grandpa visited for the weekend and NaNa Nancy earned her keep!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Lola and I attended a Christmas Party earlier this month. We attended the same party last year. I couldn't help but notice what a difference a year makes! From trying to nurse an infant in an uncomfortable chair in a dark room to chasing our little elf among the flaming candles, chocolate fondue, food, drink and glass decorations...

This picture is from the party- not our house- our tree is of the Charlie Brown variety with non breakable ornaments on the top half only. Lola has already taken care of the bottom half. We put the tree up while Lola was napping. When she saw it for the first time she said, "What's that?", no kidding. Wyatt explained it was a Christmas Tree. Her next words were "WOW!" Our most exiting verbal communication yet!
